History | Cabin Abeam
At over 24,000 pounds and a 12’ beam, the BLACK WATCH was built for off-shore cruising.
The interior layout is conducive to the classic approach of off-shore sailing in its narrowness of the main salon and living quarters. In other words, when the seas get rough you don’t want to be flying around inside the cabin.
In the mid-80’s, the owners decided to bring her old world charm into the 20th century and added heat and air, making sure they didn’t lose the original look and feel of the Cheoy Lee.
